anti-hiv

Hello guys... I took an anti-hiv I&II test a year after I had an affair with a girl in a brothel, I don't know her HIV status. The relationship was vaginal penetration using condoms. I took an anti-hiv I&II test. The result is negative. I'm afraid for my wife that she got infected. She was pregnant.  I gave birth to a child, and I expect to take HIV tests for her before birth and it was negative. Question: Does the anti-hiv I&II test from the fourth generation include antigens, and is my wife not infected and so am I?

HIV is not transmitted by having condom-protected intercourse.  You did not have a risk for HIV, so of course your wife is not infected.

You did not need to test for HIV since you were never at risk, but your negative, CONCLUSIVE result proves that you did not get HIV from this event.

Thank you, but what kind is this anti-hiv I&ii test of which generation did you take it in a private laboratory in Greece?
I have no idea.  I cannot possibly know every test that is popular in every laboratory in the world.

However, ANY test in the world is conclusive 90 days or more after a risk event.  It does not matter since you did not have a risk for HIV at all.
Thank you and good luck
