blood exposure

Hello,

Yesterday i was on a bbq and a friend shaked my hand. After 10 minutes his shirt was al covered with blood. His hand had a big wound that bleeded a lot. Now i am scrared that i rubbed my eyes with his blood on my hand. I also went to te bathroom en touched my penis with the same hand after 15 minutes. I think that hiv doesnt surive air wel so the 15 minutes would kill it or not? I am more scared that i touched my eyes short after he gave me a hand...

Can somebody tell me if there was a risk annd do i need a test?

You were not at risk from this exposure!  and do not need PEP.  The virus is rendered inactive with change in temp.  You say this is your friend? if you still worry ask him to test and end your worry.

Ok thank you for answering. 1 more question: Why can a person dont get infected with blood on his hand that touched his nose? Because the blood has to go inside his nose to become an hiv risk?

Can somebody tell me where the mucous membrane is in the nose? Is this deep into the nose or is this already at the opening of the nose?

You did not have a risk. We are not going to play "what if" I did this or that.

It is not a what if question. There was blood on his hand and i gave him a hand. It is normal for a person to touch his face once and while. i figured out that i cant touch my eye because a person has a normal reflex to close his eye while touching. I didnt pick my nose in a conversation but sometimes i touch it.

Therefore my question about the mucous membrame in the nose.

It is "what if" I touched my nose question. And it does not matter what you touched. It is no risk.
