I don't know what to talk to your Dr about, but it is not HIV related.
have yall ever scene someone on this forum get hiv from body slide and handjob...penis brushed up against thighs briefly....but that was it...well, and also against boobs....
you have had no risk. trust me and for your symptoms. it could be a viral infection very typical of symptoms. you stressed out so much doesn't help your immunity to clear the infection. it is not hiv .
many thanks scorpion....one more question...how about herpes in a situation such as this....i have had some burning of the urethra but everyone keeps telling me to move on.....scared to have sex with my wife....sorry for the rambling..
Post in the herpes forum for more info.
having pain in my armpit area as we speak...i guess could be swollen nodes...do you know if actual hiv infected patients could feel there swollen lymph nodes or is just something a doc would diagnose.....
You did not have an HIV risk.
just an fyi for everyon out there....i was confident i had swollen nodes...doc checked and they were not swollen.....vance 2335...i am still very scared as i am still feeling fluish with my muscles in my arms and legs aching and headache....rash on both of my hand (red looking spots that do not itch or hurt).....also sweating alot....i hope to goodness this is anxiety...can ars still be hanging around at 11 weeks, thats if i were just very unlucky and gotten hiv from a body slide and hanjob...thanks
You would be the 1st person in over 30 years of HIV to aquire HIV that way...NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Seek a therapist for your anxiety issues
thanks man.. i am just struggling here and do not feel well....so from all of your research and findings you found that no one has ever gotten it that way....i need to print off that statement and carry it in my palm all day...
this will be my last question...what is your interest in wanting to help folks out on this forum that are stressing about hiv...how have you gained your knowledge on this subject?
My interest is I came to this website several years ago asking about STD's from a regretful experience. After I got my answers I start to gain info on STD's and then HIV, to give back and help others that were like me.
I gained knowledge by asking questions to some trusted people, read responces from Teak, Lizzie, Nursegirl and Dr.HHH and Dr.Hook. Started doing research on my own.
i am so sorry to reply again....but i am sitting at my desk this morning at the 11 week point with a sweaty forehead...muscles are aching...shoulder blades hurt...headache....doc proved it is not mono or flu by blood test....i have had fluish type symptoms for 5 weeks now and am freaking out and scared....where do i go from hear....no one will take me serious because ....no risk from body rub and handjob....no risk from body rub and hand job....well,.what in the world is wrong with me...i also had some slight tingling on my gential area with some very very very small pimples after the exposure....all docs said move on...what if that was how it got in my system.....
ANXIETY/PANIC ATTACK.
Sorry but this forum can't be of any more help to you. Follow up with your Dr, seek a therapist, post in the anxiety forum. But HIV is not a concern.
just to ease my anxiety...does anyone that is truly at risk still have symptoms 11 weeks after exposure....i hope not....
my 12 week anitbody test just came back negative......muscles are aching throughout body, shoulder pains, headache and been sweating the last several day.....for all of you worried folks....do not worry about symptoms....my anxiety is causing most of these i believe....because i trust the doctors and all others on this site that 12 weeks is conclusive...
Your symptoms are clearly realted to anxiety, if you have not already talked to your GP about this then you need to. There are many things that can help you including theray and medication. Within a relatively short period of time using these 2 things you will start to feel better.
thanks zamzam4...i have been an emotional wreck the last couple months and have been looking forward this 12 week mark....
Well, now you need to move on, you really do. If you can't see your doctor, they can help. Mine was a god send and without her I don't know where I would be now.
You will be ok, ok?
can i please hear u say one last thing...."a 12 week hiv antibody test is definitive and conclusive"....now i need to see a therapist....my doc has actually recommended counseling but i told him not yet....thank you very much
Hon,
There is no doubt, ask any expert, that a 12 week antibody is absolutely 200% conclusive, you do not have HIV. In fact, although manufacturers will never state this as they are covering their arses, tests will pick up positive people much earlier than 12 weeks.
You do not have HIV.
You DO need to see a therapist. Don't beat yourself up about it, by admitting you have this issue you are actually being strong and honest and saying that you deserve better.
Speak to you doc, get the counselling, you have no idea how much it can help x
