curious about hiv symptome
i had sex with this girl. it was unprotected. it was about 4 weeks about. Now i had symptoms of a cold and my neck feels a bit swollen. no fever or fatigue or vomiting. the girl got checked out for stds and she said they came back clean. and hiv test hasnt come back yet she said. Do you think i have hiv from running nose and feeling of swollen neck but i dont feel any lumps or anything. no sore throat either and i can swallow food just fine. im a huge worrier and i am worried i have hiv. will be going to doc, but do you think i have it?
3 months is conclusive. A 6 week negative test is not likely to change At 3 months
Your symptoms are not related to your exposure as your symptoms came on to late and they do not even hint at the type of HIV symptoms you experience with ARS.
Your risk was low, but you will still need to test for HIV 3 months post exposure to be sure you were not infected. (This stands even if the girls test is negative)
