test question

Hello guys. Please i need an answer from someone who knows what they are talking about.

I had unprotected vaginal and anal with a CSW (i was drunk, big mistake).

I tested twice at 8 and 12 weeks. Both were hiv combi tests that came back negative.

My question is.

Does the hiv combi (roche) look for both hiv 1 and hiv 2? Or it only looks for hiv 1?

In that case should i have a test for hiv 2?

You are negative conclusively. Your test covers both HIV 1 and 2. For reference, please see the given link. Also HIV is limited to western Africa only.
