living with hiv positive partner

Hi,

my male partner is hiv positive. Last night we got a bit drunk and we had unprotected oral sex rimming and fingering. He ussed his saliva for fingering. I know that it it low risk activity, but he had recently a bit of bleeding froma tooth. Was it risky? Should i go for pep? Should i get tested?

thank you in advance for your answers

No.  As long as the head of your penis was covered with condom during penetrative sex you are fine.

You definitely need to go and see the Dr. with your partner and get educated about HIV and safe sex with your HIV+ partner.

I said this for your safety not to be mean.  Take care stay safe.

my question was:
thank you for all your answers! I really appreciate it:)

i will consult the ID dr in 2 weeks. However I'm still warried. We were always very carefull, but this time I saw I burnt skin on my penis near the bottom (probably during the intercourse). Those are three little (about 3-4 milimiters each) red spots, not bleeding now. They were potentially not covered by the condom during anal sex. Do those skin fractions put me at risk? Should I get tested?

Should I avoid any particular activity (like oral sex, fingering etc.)?
best regards!

Hello,

First of all I am very happy to know that you never descriminated while choosing your love :). Just use condoms correctly for penetrative sex. Your activities mentioned above dont put you at risk. Saliva in the mouth deactivates the virus. I hope your partner is treated with ARS treatment along with healthy life style comprising of good food boosting immunity + exercise. Positive people with ARS+good care+Good food+Exercise+Positive and happy attitude results in life span of that like a normal human being

Regards,
Nikhil
