hiv needle stick

I was actually coming in a bus after finishing my night shift and while coming i sat on some seat. There were many people in the bus. When i sat i actually felt very painful sensation. Later i saw there was a needle. It fell down. That needle actually went around 3mm inside my skin. I'm honestly not sure if something was injected or not but i started bleeding after that. Infact a little bleeding. I see that wound is still visible but penetration was about 3mm. Is it possible to inject blood into blood stream by sending needle about 3mm deep or still it needs to be deeper enough or it has inject only into veins. I would say that needle was like 3 minutes older. It happened. Please help me.

so in reality are you saying it's not possible to transmit hiv by prick because blood will not be injected?

Okay i jus want to ask you some question regarding this needle prick since you are a medicine person.

In order to transmit the blood into blood stream how deep the needle should go inside. In terms of mm?

Will it bleed more a leave a tiny mark if needle penetrated enough deep into skin?

You never had an exposure.

In order to avoid unnecessary panic among the people, the ASI informed that it is difficult to contract HIV through needles contaminated with the HIV virus, as the virus does not survive outside human body for long.

"Virus dies as soon as blood dries. HIV contaminated blood supposedly used for pricks like the ones described, doesn't pose any real risk of transmission," the ASI statement said.

Hi teak i read police have said it's fault news or something. I believed it too but yesterday i pricked with a needle in bus. I don't know if it injected anything but i bleed a little. I actually sat on that. It was placed horizontal not vertical. But it did penetrate my skin. I complained to police too believe me.

This is not believable that a needle was just on a bus and sticking up so you could get stuck with it.
