Fever after coronary angioplasty (stenting)

Hi
I am 62 years old male, had coronary angioplasty (stenting) about a month ago. Two stent in one vein and one in the other one. Since I discharged from hospital I am having fever very single night (small fever), Is that normal?

It is not normal to have daily fevers.  How is the site where you had the catheter put in look like?  I would probably see someone about this.

My dad had angioplasty(with stenting) about 3 months back. Ever since last 1 month, cough with phlem is quite persistant. He took a few anti allengy drugs but catching up fever once in a fortnight or so that lasts for a day or two. Is this any way abnormal? His cardiac follow-up checkups indicates that he is recevoring well.

Please advice and thanks in advance for your response.

I believe the Dr was referring to the spot where they inserted the catheter in your body.  Is there any redness around the area?   You really should have your Dr check it out just in case there may be an infection.

I think the Doctor meant at what hospital or facility was the stent put in.
