Three leaky heart valves

My wife has just been told that she has three leaky heart valves.  She is 85 years old.  Gets very tired and sleepy. HAS CHRONIC COUGH.   Doctor says nothing to be done.   Would you please advise how serious this is

It is difficult to say without knowing the degree to which they are leaking.  If it is minimal leaking, there is truly nothing to do.  If the leaking is significant, the approach would depend on symptoms, your wife's current health status and other medical problems.  that is about all i can say without knowing how much leaking there is.
