normal resting heart rate

hi everyone. i have this question regarding rhythm.

i exercise 5 times a week . occassionally i find that at complete rest i have a
heart rate as low as 54-59 but have no other associated symptoms if anything
i feel very well, not fatigued or dizzy or anything.

is it still something i should worry about ?

walking to the shops for instance is around 90-110 and when i exercise
it usually gets upto 146.recovery in the 1st minute is usually 50 beats down.

the low hr doesn't happen all the time but still it freaked me out.

i ended up having a panic attack over it.

any suggestions will be helpful.

i am 34yrs fem

Boy did you get some positive feedback on that one....LOVE IT!!!  Okay a normal pulse rate for a non athlete is 70-120 and considered within normal limits....however.....if you are an active person, work out take good care of yourself you need to remember that athletes like Lance Armstrong has a naturally resting heart rate of 36-40 and we all know he is in top shape.  Nothing to worry about remember those resting rates are just that when you begin exerting yourself you are actually exercising your heart itself because it is also a muscle...all i can say is lucky lucky you and don't look for trouble where there is none.........

Sounds like a great strong heart to me.  Nothing to worry about given what you've told us.

Enjoy life, stop worrying.
