paroxysmal aterial fibrilation

i am 32years old from 10 years ago  i had palpitation 2 day in week that prolonged 5 min  but 9 month ago my palpitation prolonged 2 hours i went to hospital and after ECG AND holter monitoring and echocardiografy tell me paroxysmal aterial fibrilatibation my palpitation prolong 1-5 min in 2-3day week but my cardiologist order flecaienid  200mg per day  for 6 monthes i ask u what r u doing

Sorry to hear about your arrhythmia....you have a lot of company on here and can hear from lots of other members about about their own personal experiences.  I've dealt with the a-fib for 12-13 yrs and have taken anti-arrhythmia drugs for most of that time.  A yr ago I stopped  my med because it was actually starting to cause my episodes of 12-24 hrs.  I had to go on a blood-thinner a yr ago so i could lessen the danger of having a stroke.  Also I am going ahead with an ablation because a-fib is a progressive condition and when it does get worse and more frequent, it really wears you out.

You are so young and have a long road ahead of you with a-fib.  I did fine on the meds for yrs but I was really just buying myself some time....while the ablation procedure was becoming more and more perfected.  Also I thought, like so many others, that somehow I could beat it and it would just go away.  Sorry to say...that's not the case!  So you have decisions to make and you are doing the right thing in learning all you can and this is an excellent place to start.
