Hi ice...the short answer as claytex has said is no.....there is no limit whether it be an electrical conversion or a chemical conversion. At the end of the day and if you keep having to get converted this to me is pretty redundent and whoever your doc is needs to take a look at the best plan of action in taking care of this situ...meds are a treatment and as Claytex says an ablation is a cure but i have no idea why you are getting converted or what your diagnosis is....may more info?
Dear Ice: I had about 15 electro cardioversions over a 10 year period. I asked to docs how long I could keep getting them and they said there was no problem.. dont know.. they never gave me a number or an exact answer. Anyway, I had a heart ablation in july of this last year and it seems to have fixed me totally... I have no atril fib or pvcs either one now.. just a real regular heart rate of about 60-63 when resting... love it.. hope this helps...Claytex
