Hep A Vaccine

Hello - I just had a vaccination for Hep A a wk ago.  Is there any problem if I got pregnant? If so, what could be any problems? Is there any waiting time that should be happening?

Thank you in advance.

Hello!
Hepatitis A vaccine is produced from inactivated hepatitis A virus so the risk associated with taking this vaccine during pregnancy is very less. A theoretical risk still exists but it is relatively low. In pregnant women who are at high risk for exposure to the virus vaccine is given if the possible benefits outweigh the risks. Inform your gynecologist about it. Do write to us again with more queries.
Best wishes!
