Thankyou for your response.
My pcr came back non detected. I went to the doctor today with my biopsy result and he told me that everything was great and stage 2 grade 1 was almost normal. Screening for HCC is getting an ultrasound done ? or is there a special test ?
Also, is there anything i can do to imporve my chances of clearing the virus ? any diet , exercise ? Everyone who i asked has told me that nothing helps but as there must be quite a lot of people on this forum suffering from the same disease, was there anything which made you feel better ?
What can be done to bring the inflammation and fibrosis down ?
Do you mean your pcr came back undetected or UND. If so that's good, you may have "e" serocoverted since you are 22 years old. That would be good. Also you should have regular screening for HCC (liver cancer). Screening doesn't mean you have HCC. Also, it's not uncommon for chronic B Heppers to feel discomfort in the liver area. Many reports this and most are fine.
my sgpts had been constantly out of range since the last 7 months but last month my sgpt came within range. Previously they had been fluctuating between 70 and 200. I am not overweight, need to further control my diet though.
I have had pcr done twice in the last 8 months and it has come back non reactive each time. This does mean i am inactive right ?
What kind of a balanced diet is recommended ?
If exercising causes me slight pain over the liver area does this mean something?
Thanks for your responses ,

Out of curiousity, what do your ALT (SGPT) levels look like and for how long?
This is a pretty good biopsy result. You currently have some inflammation but not much fibrosis. You also have some fatty liver. Do you eat a high fat diet? If you do or if you are overweight try to trim down and you may be able to reverse the steatosis and bring down your imflammation.
The problem with questions such as you is that there is nothing to compare your current findings to. You need a series of labs over time to be able to make a good guess of what's happening.
If your initial sgpt are are "constantly" higher then you are not really "inactive" to begin with. You need to learn more about your condition so you could make better HepB related decisions.
Here's a good place to start:

its been around 7 months since i found out. Do i need to be worried ? is there treatment to stop progression and possibly regress ?
How long have you had chronic HepB? Grade 2 and Stage 1 mean mild-mod.
