CMIA or ELISA

During a blood test I noticed that I have elevated liver enzyme levels

S.G.O.T 62 u/l
S.G.P.T 216 u/l
Total Bilirubin 3.07 mg/dl

I took a hepatitis profile test and got the following for Hepatitis B.

HBs Ag (CMIA, Australia Antigen) - Negative
Anti HB c IgM (CLIA) - Negative
Anti HB c Total (CLIA) - Negative
HBe Ag (CLIA) - Negative
Anti HBe (CLIA) - Negative
Anti HBs (CLIA), (quantitative) : 1.45 IU / L

After showing all thees reports to a senior doctor I was seeing, she said that I need to take the following tests

HBS-AG (ELISA)
HCV (ELISA)

since ELISA is more reliable.

Is that true ? Is ELISA more reliable than CMIA, what about the false negatives in CMIA?

Please help

didnt read all your markers, i also think it is not hbv

check also HEV and HAV

ast and alt can rise because of antibiotics, they are very toxic to liver and kidneys.i also got creatinine clearance (kidneys function) below normal due to an antibiotic

Anti HBs (CLIA), (quantitative) : 1.45 IU / L

I didn't mention the biological reference levels

10 IU / L  - Acquired Immunity.

Yes I was on antibiotics medication in the last month, and my SGPT levels were high and it became low, and it started rising up again.

I don't think you have Hepatitis B, since both your HBsAg and HBcAb are negative. Have you been vaccinated against HBV? This will explain the presence of HBsAb. However your ALT (SGPT) is elevated and this should be investigated - drinking, fatty liver, medication? A HCV test is reasonable.
