Generally Inactive HBV phase can last for 50 years !!

I saw one interesting video in youtube today, once HBV comes to Inactive phase, it can last for 50 years in best case!! Generally it starts in the age of 30 and can last till your 80 age!!

I can share the link, but this site doesn't allow us to share any link..very bad.

Only good diet, healthy weight and daily exercises are the key. They were very interesting facts about HBV in that link..!!

Hi Mrr49,

No. Majority of people will die with it, not from it. I didn't mean that everyone will die bcz of liver complications. As you have been with HBV since many years, it may not harm you.

Are you saying although hbvdna inactive remains, death of liver cancer is inevitable sooner or later. I am 66yrs old & had hbv for 40/50 yrs. l posted yesterday my alt is now 33, so do I have to face things are now turning bad.
I am told I will die with it, more chances of getting run over by a lorry than death of Hbv. Does Hbv have to become active again to cause problems.

We all have high hopes, which is good.  My wife's aunt has hbv for years and she is 68.  I never knew she had hbv when she visited us, until my wife told me when I was diagnosed.  It's all up to God,  some get liver cancer at late 40s others in 50,  60 or 70s, but 80% of worlds liver cancer patients have hbv in blood, according to WHO and NIH

To Ram1982,
Yes, it is possible to share a link here. What you need to do is paste your link adress in your message, highlight and right click the link and then choose "paste as plain text" from the right click menu, before you post the message.
This method ensures the link is not an active hyperlink; those who wish to view the link, should paste the it  in the adress line of their browser and press "enter".
