Is there any connection with low Vit D and depression?
To avoid depression try to make your self as busy as you can like working, studying or exercise.
I have chronic HBV from birth, and now i am 26, and I have experienced depression always. Last year i started to train, and i felt much better, it helped me against depression. Recently though, I started to feel very weak and actually was unable to train, i had no energy at all, and depression started again to dominate me.
to faithhopegod . Yes you are right , but take a look ones more on your name you use here ''faith-hope-god '' .i don't think you put this name haphazardly. Have faith and hope that a treatment will come up soon . If man is unable then with God it will not fail .
Put in mind that hepa B virus kills just like other diseases .malaria kills more than hep B . Free your mind and feel free and live as you had nothing in the blood .Just consider you have chlamydia .No man on earth is perfect . All the entire earth is sick . If you put all that in mind you will live a peaceful life. If you are a christian , take a look at this bible test . Romans 8:22 . This bible test removed a very heavy load on my head when i discovered i was hepatitis B positif . FingHb is total right
Liver I believe is the filter for our body. But clinical depression is in the head part of body. But yeah I agree that no one organ works alone, but rather they work together as one whole body
Thank you all for sharing your opinions on possible relationship between hbv disease and anxiety/depression. I brought this question because I read that depression is the result of absence of some hormones in our system. Since the liver is one of our most important organs that controls thousands of life processes, I thought its impairment may have some effect on regulating those hormones.
It's mental, if you did not know you had hbv, then depression and anxiety would not be there. I am only depressed and have anxiety sometimes, when I think of dying early on my wife and my beautiful three boys, other than that I have faith that God will call me home when it's my time. I pray and wish that I live long and see my grandkids.
depression/anxiety this is character, not hvb or viruses.
this type of weak character reflects on immune system and is not good for severe illnesses like cancer, their immune system is weaker and they usually die on major illnesses.a researcher/doctor experience on cancer, she said character is the most important thing
Yes I am going through that as well.
liverpatient . I agree with Aduiski , because that usually happen not only with hepa B patients , it happens even with hiv , cancer .......patients.
it is not. You might get depressed and anxious though if you think a lot about you being hep positive.
