Not sure of results on clearing

Hi there, I was diagnosed with acute HBV in August 2008. My liver specialist was sure from the outset that I was going to clear the virus and be fine but I am now getting to close to the end of my six month 'beat the clock' game and I still have the HBsAG in blood although at very low level. My HBsAG at the start was 27.0 but has since gone down in 5 months to 0.1. I have been diagnosed as definite acute at the start due detection of the IgM antibody very early on. The doc said this was sign that I had not got this virus years and years ago. My problem is that I have just received my last set of results and am very confused and the more I read online the more I confuse myself with this very complicated virus. My latest results after 5 months of the virus say:
1. HBsAG positive = 0,1
2. Anti-HBC IgM = high (doc says this is good??)
3. Anti-HBC IgG positve but not as high as they want them to be.

These are the only results I have been given. Am I close to resolving this virus or am I going into the chronic stage? I have read so much about Anti-HBc's and some sites say that if IgM is high this is sign of chronic. Can anyone assist me as you all seem to know a whole lot about this.
Thanks

Your HBsAg is very low.  Rather than worrying, why don't you just give your body enough  time to clear the HBV.

Thanks Cajim, you are right. I have had a terrible last few months worrying just as all of us have done I guess. As I said my specialist has been unconcerned from the day I was admitted to hospital but it isn't always easy to be positive about it. I think I took such fright at this and am somewhat angry that it seems to have been picked up in a hospital to begin with!!!!!! Totally unbelievable to think that I go in for one thing and  come out with another! But that's the wonderful NHS for you. However I have to say my liver doc is fantastic and he has been clear and thorough all along the way.I have probably a couple more weeks to see if this clears and my anti-HBs appear. Am I right in thinking that the Igm gradually goes after the HBsAG clears and that the Igg may stay for life in a resolved patient? I have been using a good book that I bought which seems to indicate this. Am I also right in thinking that I can clear this and be resolved but may still need to be immunised if the Igg levels are not high enough to make me totally immune - or have I confused myself? I have to say what a wonderful site this is and it has got me through some worrying weeks just to have some information and reassurance from people experiencing the same thing. I hope a cure is found for this very soon.

You have 90-95% chance of clearing the HBV and once achieved you are immune for a long time.  Please don't worry about Igg now.
