No renal damage.  Even 74% of patients with cirrhosis were no longer cirrhotic

Hence I think REP 9AC plus IFN will be the one. Apparently according to their website, this combo trial is going on right now.

I fear replicor is also just the beginning of a cure.  It blocks the HBSAG secretion and allows the body to become antiHBS postive.  However, it does not clear the intranuclear ccdna.  Our immune system will still need things like peginterferon alpha and lambda to keep up the ccdna clearance.  


We must all work hard like steff to continue finding drugs or substance which may reduce HBSag.  Replicor is just a piece of the puzzle for a cure
.
