Thank you all. My family is vaccinated. And yes, i reative to Hbsag before the test.
do you have any data of hbv before these tests?
Yes, you are current infected with HBV. I suggested to screen all your family member just to clear that they are not infected through you. If not vaccinate them immediately. The best next thing is go to Gastroenterologist further step. I assume that it was an Acute if ur lucky.
Your results to me seem confusing HBSAG positive means and HBAB negative means you have the surface antigen and no anti bodies from my understanding. SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR TO CLEAR UP ANY CONFUSION!!!
Also the lab i did the antibody test recomended further vaccination. As follows:
Anti-HBsAg <10mI/ml. Reference range < 10, further vaccination recomended. Whats the way forward? Thanks

Thanks for coments. A follow up test result is as follows,
HBsAg positive, HBsAb negative, HBeAg negative, HBeAb positive, HBcAb positive. Liver function test was great. Doctor did not recommend any treatment. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Unusually I would agree with Stephen here. Get further tests speak to your doctor...
The meaning of your test is not clear. It may mean you have no HBsAg antibodies. It may mean you have some HBsAg antibodies but not sufficient to be considered protective against HBV infection. More importantly, it does not mean you don't have HBV, for that you should test your HBsAg, and hbvdna if HBcAb is positive.
We've taken care of all the duplicates. No worries, it happens sometimes.
