hbsag is positive but pcr is undetectable

Dear  perform many test to check my hbv for foreign visa,lab show hbsag positive with ratio of 1423 and pcr and hbeag show negative.my live unsound is normal ,some doctor suggest natural juice for this but still did not have any improvement ,i am worry about this,kindly help me

Right now my hbv dna=und, hbeag - hbeab+, SGPT/SGOT normal. Hbsag count= 16989 IU/ML (i will have bsag count again end of July since it was my first time to test hbsag count).

How r u ? I did test of hbsag quantitative previous from UK based lab and result is 580 iu/ml.so what us your thinking about it which pill is better for me and how much time consumed for this .Is it any thing which hide the Elisa result because I have great job offer from Uae as group CFO .I am waiting for your answer

It is not, other members from pakistan made pegintf checking hbsag and cleared, only labs with obsolete machines and outdated dont have hbsag quant which is itself an old test too from 2000-2004

you are making confusione

you are confusing the two tests which are very different and with different meaning.hbsag quantitative must be undetectable or less than 0.05iu/ml

hbsag result has no unit in copies/ml, that s hbvdna unit which has nothing to do with clearing the virus.you are making confusione between hbsag quant and hbvdna quant

hbsag is the test which reflecta clearance of infection and infected cells, hbvdna is just the test to see if antivirals are working and is replication, not infected cells or clearance of infection

I repeat test of hbsag quantitative and result is less then 20 copies ,it mean no virus active so please tell me what is saying report and now I need treatment to non reactive the hbsag

also elisa is a useless test for hbvers and antivirals also dont change it, you have to test hbsag quantitative in iu/ml (architect or elecsys) and hbvdna quantitative in iu/ml

after you took lamivudine you can only use tenofovir because lam can mutate hbv to resistance to all drugs except tenofovir and interferon

Zeffix is lamavudine. In one or two year it will develop resistance.this entiviral
Was used earlier.now as per hbv guidlines interferon,entacavir,and tenofovir
Is recomended.first dear u will have ti find out weather u need treatment or not.if your virus is not making any damage then no need of treatment.if you will develop resistance no medicine will work.change doc and make appoint

I take zeffex only for 15 days,how much this may cause harmful and if I take no other tablet for this ,then this harmness reduce naturally ,I perform twice time Elisa after your post and my Elisa is 1097 ,I think it mean no side effect frm zeffix is no still now ,but it may cause in future
Doctor suggest engirex for me ,what is your think about this

change to tenofovir, entecavir had same effect on me increasing hbsag from 4800iu/ml to 7200iu/ml.for me it never worked on hbsag and also hbvdna was not totally und all the time

Change tha ignorent doc immediately who prescribed u lamavudine.once resistance developed u will fall in rtouble. Other anti viral drug will not work then.chenge this drug immidietly with guide of some good doc.
According to first line threpy entacavir and tenofovir is good

the drug you have used is called lamivudine and it is not a drug for hbv anymore, it just mutates virus to more aggressive and all antivirals useless, now do not use any antiviral but tenofovir which is the most potent drug working on all mutated hbv

look for tenofovir as soon as possible because the mutation under lamivudine can be very serious and make deadly flares as a worst scenario, who used lamivudine for you today in 2015 is an absolute killer

my pcr quatitive show 4 IU/ml
i used Zeffix once a day and check elisa that ratio is decreasing and suddenly increase when i repeat so kindly tell ,is it any side effect of zeffix and can i vaccine for hbv ,my result is now 1028 and normal range is 1000 ,this is elisa ratio.i am waiting

as all chronic carriers you are still infected but you miss the most important test which is hbsag quantitative by elecsys or architect in iu/ml, not elisa

post when you have this test and we may have clues on how to clear it, in any case it takes years, there is nothing to clear fast even acute hbv requires from 6 to 12 months

                        yes you are saying right.my PCR is undetectable and my ALT is 28 and my ultrasound say my liver condition is smooth ,HBeAg is also negative .but my HBsAg eliza show reactive and i am chartered Accountant ,have great opportunity in Oman that perform this test in eliza,can you tell me ,how can i change this result from reactive to non reactive.i am worry about this .please answer me soon.
i consult doctor ,he say there is no way to change this result from reactive to non reactive ,whole life eliza show reactive

hbv undetected means low replication but nothing to do withinfected cells.test hbsag quantity in iu/ml by roches elecsys or architect, no other machines can do hbsag quantitative.
the result will reflect infected cells and possibility to clear infection, hbsag less than 1000iu/ml is low
