Can Hep-B be passed on

Hi,

I recently had an STD scare. Was worried about everything so I got tested for all STD's which came back Neg. My question is, can I pass on Hep-B even if I am vaccinated for it. I got my shots about 8 years ago. The only contact I would have had is with a family member with no sexual contact. I am reading H-B is in saliva and sometimes we would share a water etc.

Thanks

If you got vaccinated (all 3 shots), you would not get the virus at all. The only way you will be able to know your status is through a bloodtest.

I guess I need to be more clear. I got vaccinated years ago. I am wondering could I still have recently contracted the virus and passed it on even though it would not affect me. In short could I become a carrier?

Your question makes no sense. If you had Hep B and then got vaccinated, that vaccination did NOTHING unless you cleared the virus naturally first. If you built an immunity to it after clearing, you will not pass it on since you don't have it any more.
