Could treatment have caused my leg pain

I was diagnosed with Hep C in 2007 at the age of 46 Went on treatment right away with Interferon and Rib. for 48 months. Came back after 6 months. Treated again in 2012 with Interferon, Rib & Incivek for 12 weeks. Have been in remission since ending that treatment. Both times that I treated I did my interferon injections into my legs. I get such a terrible burning and stinging sensation in the back of my thighs when I sit for longer then 30 minutes. This has been going on now for almost 8 years. First the doctors thought it was Sciatica then they thought it was the periformis muscle, tendonitis of the hamstrings, etc. I have had multiple injections for both issues. I have done PT 5 times. I have had acupuncture nothing has relieved the pain. I stand constantly and I have to say it is wearing me down. Every time I asked one of the doctors if it could be from the Interferon they look at me like I'm crazy. Has  anyone else had any issues like this? I just want to try and fix it.

Also physical therapy doesn't really work for piriformis.
You need massage therapy.  HUGE DIFFERENCE.
I would really recommend you try about 4-5 massage treatments on the piriformis muscle.
That muscle is very very deep.  It can be hard to get it to release.  If it's on the right side be very aware of how you get in and especially out of your car.  Make sure both feet r flat on the ground when u push yourself up.  Not just your right leg pushing.
I struggled with pirif. For years. But it was misdiagnosed as sciatica.
Actually the first massage I had on my butt cheek and leg gave me relief.   It's along story.
But I know now what kicks it in. I have helped so many people with this that have diagnosed with sciatica, but doing the very same massage on them I had done on me.
Call a massage clinic in your area and tell them you need someone familiar with piriformis issue.
Then GO!

You might want to look up
CRYOGLOBULINIMIA.
It's a form of peripheral neuropathy.   It's often secondary to hep c.
Also interferon by itself can cause NERVE damage, regardless of the reason your doing chemo.
Chemo can also cause multiple chemical sensitivity or
MCS.  It's also very common. But you won't many ND that are aware of it.
Study both of these a bit and see if maybe they sound like what your dealing with.
Keep up the good fight.
