thanks a lot for sharing ur experiences. I have alarm system on phone which warns me 5 times during the day but my problem yesterday was to confuse the drugs to take. I dont know what i was thinking in that moment but i took ribavirin instead of victrelis and i realized it on next dose of victrelis so i dont know if i can have any system for my stupidity. We have an idiom about this ''it's no use crying over split milk.'' So it happened and i have to look ahead. Just wondering process of people like me who missed any dose of victrelis. Coz we only know the resistance rate to this drug is so high.

my HCV-RNA was 612 IU on 8th weeks so still + but neither me nor my doc dont call it as + (especially if it came down from 12 million IU). Im a medical staff and know the progress of disease and treatment but this drug is new and we dont know anything about it yet, no more info on textbooks or on web pages so i wanna get info from people who have experienced it before. So these forums are so worth for us and future of medicine.

i sincerely thank to u again for sharing ur experiences and wish u great times in ur new life(for me it is a white page in ur life and hopefully gonna be in ours too)

with my best regards

I treated with Incivek (plus Interferon and Ribavirin) and I did not miss any doses. I did attain SVR (cure).

Even though I did not miss any doses, I will still give you my opinion.

I do not know when you became Undetectable ..... hopefully at 8 weeks of treatment. You are at 10 weeks of treatment (so you are at 6 weeks of Victrelis treatment).

It is never good to miss or be late with any doses of Victrelis. However, missing one dose at 10 weeks into treatment, especially if one was Undetectable at 8 weeks, will hopefully not impact the treatment outcome.

The important thing is to be sure to take all future doses on time and to be sure to take all future doses without missing any more doses. If you are not using alarms and/or timers to remind you when your doses are due, then it would be a good idea to get some sort of alarm reminder system in place.

Try not to worry too much about this as there is really nothing you can do about it. Most likely missing this one dose (as long as you take all of the future doses) will not affect the outcome, but that depends on many factors so there is no guarantee. Just proceed award with your treatment.

Wishing you the very best.
