Thanks for your suggestions. You guys have been the pillars of support. I don't know how to thank you guys.
I still have a long way to go. Really don't know what will be the outcome but I am willing to hang in there.
Agree with the group. Half hour prior to injection I take a Tylenol, and 25 mg benadryl .......right after injection, I put in artificial tear, take a 1/2 Ambien and good night. Diane
I can't add anything but just want to congratulate you on starting your TX. Keep us posted Zako.

Agree with beeblessed about doing the shot closer to bedtime to sleep through any potential sides. I usually do mine at about 8 pm.
I take 500MG of Tylenol 2 hours before my shot. Seems to control the flu like symptoms. It has been better over time less sides. I'm now at week # 12 do not need the Tylenol anylonger. Good luck and hang in there!!!!
Hi there. You took your injection in the morning?? It's better to take it closer to bedtime, so you can sleep through possible sides. Drinking plenty of water will help. Some people have a reaction to the 1st injection, some don't. Just know that each day or two will be different. Keep your doctor posted on any concerns. Hope your feel better soon.
Tylenol works well for the fever and chills but stay within recommended dosage.
When taken at recommended doses, acetaminophen, the medicine in TYLENOL®, is the preferred pain reliever for patients with chronic, stable liver disease.
If you are under a doctor's care for any serious condition, or are taking any other drugs, you should talk to your doctor before taking additional medications. If you are not sure if your medication contains acetaminophen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use TYLENOL® with other acetaminophen-containing products. Always read and follow label directions. Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) of acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
The warning section of the label states:
Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take:
•more than 8 caplets in 24 hours, which is the maximum daily amount
•with other drugs containing acetaminophen
•3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product

That is taking 325 mg tablets best to talk to your doc and find out what they would consider an acceptable level of usage in 24 hr period .
