Sorry to hear he is in such serious shape, it sounds to me like he is beyond the treatment stage because he is too ill, but you never know. It's unfortunate, if you're in California get him to Stanford Hospital in the S.F. area, I know they freeze the liver and all kinds of new technology, not that freezing a liver is that new. If not take him to a learning hospital, I know that a person can live for years with a liver at a 40% operation rate. But we are talking about a barely functional liver. Another ugly truth is he didn't respond to the dieuretics or pee pills. That's an extremely serious position. I will pray. God Bless
from what i have seen around here, some people in end stage liver disease can
go for many more months.
