Auto immune Hepatitis

by ninacmj3, Sep 28, 2008 05:50PM
I  guess I did not give enough info. I am inquiring about auto immune hepatitis. After going off treatment with prednisone and imuran, a few months later I was back with the same problem, now my doctor says I have to make a decision as to which I want to take a large dose of prednisone witha lower dose of Imuran OR a small dose of prednisone and a large dose of Imuran. It is my decision and I don;t know what to do. I thought if there is anyone  out there who has been on these treatments , they might be able to let me know how it worked for them

There is actually a forum specifically for auto immune hepatitis (AIH).  You may get some answers here, you'll likely get more there.  The link to it is on the side under Related Communities. Good luck.
