BI0PHSY OR NO BIOPSHY?

LAST WEEK I WROTE THAT MY ANA LEVELS HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY ELEVATED, I ASKED , DOES IT WARRANT A LIVER BIOPHY TO BE DONE OR MORE EXTENSIVE BLOODWORK STUDIES? HE DID A CATSCAN OF THE ABDOMEN AND THAT CAME BACK FINE AS DID MY ANNUAL CHOLESTEROL, JUST THIS AGAIN. I HAVE TO PHONE THE DOCTOR AND GIVE HIM A RESPONSE SOON. IF TEN % OF WOMEN NORMALLY HAVE A LITTLE ELEVATED ANA LEVEL THROUGH THEIR LIVES, IS IT NECESSARY TO GO THROUGH A BIOPHSY AND IS IT JUST A ONE DAY OUTPATIENT PROCEDURE? STILL CONCERNED. I APPRECIATE ANY OPINIONS. THANKS....
