Kodiak..... The Twilight Zone. LOL!
It is soooo very beautiful here... Amazing -- hard to believe beautiful.
Come in the summertime --- In Fairbanks the summer hits 90's
It's not all igloos and stuff --- folks think Antarctica --- think more like Northern Calif/OR/WA...
Kinda like that in most places.

Yeah....I am on the 24 week SOC.....dont know what bird I was holding....it was in the Australian zoo...but do know just looove to hold birds whether they have wings or not....LOL...just kidding!
Although the odds are good - sometimes the goods are odd... LOL! best line I've heard in awhile, he he...
my younger sis moved to Alaska for awhile, she said she was proposed to on a routine basis lol...yeah, people are fit here for sure in LA, well, some parts of it anyway , (well, many) but there's something for everyone here too...it's a very health oriented place, even the dogs do yoga! ha ha ha! Meki, if you don't mind asking, where in Alaska do you live? I've always wanted to go there, I've read so much about it, I'd like to see the frontier towns, the glaciers, etc...it's so beautiful in pics....but, alas, I can't take really cold weather, tried, but couldn't hack it....so I'd like to go in the warmer months...
Before I forget,
What kind of bird is that?
Wyntre
PS - I'm a "Quaker" AKA 'Monk" parrot.
My roommate, Venus, is a blue-front Amazon and two-toed Basil is a Plum-head.
Shastri,
Fab!!!!! Only one shot left! Congrats to you!
I guess you were on the 24 week X?
And the bloaty thing is bizarre - same thing with me - i weigh less but my pants are now too tight in the waist!
Hope this goes away post TX. you'll have to let us know.
meki,
*LOL*
"The odds are good but the goods can be odd"
hahaha

Pigeonca -- Ya gotta move to Alaska! LMAO!
There's like 4 guys to 1 gal!
Although the odds are good - sometimes the goods are odd... LOL!
But there ain't no skinny minnies here --- We're all happily healthy!
Hugs,
Meki
Yup....just one more week to go before my last shot and this bloating issue has started.....need to buy a new pair of jeans as its getting more harder to fit in around the waist area..or need to start going on a crash diet!
The strange part is before tx my weight was 162 lbs and now I am 154 lbs....
Wish I could find a guy like that. Living in L.A., they all like their women skinny. I just went to a movie theatre and saw an ad on the screen for Tummy Tuck jeans. I guess there's a girdle built into the jeans. I never liked those things when we used to have to wear them - I'd rather just not tuck in my blouse. Now, off to the gym.
I wish it was just my belly...
But my 125 lb hubby (I'm 175 lbs.. LMAO! After tx) tells me he loves my floatation device...
While I feel like Laurel and Hardy --- he's livin' it up with my floaters... LMAO!
Anyhow --- I know what you mean --- it's that place right above the rib cage bottom --- up to mid area... And it almost feels constricting.
I too, joke constantly - because it makes me realize that life is what it is... And laughter makes what it is a lot more fun to deal with.
But I've only got 4 feet of innertubeness - so I'm kinda jealous Jim.
LOL!
Meki
that's a good one, guess our mom's just hid it by just wearing girdles, but I'd die from the vapors with those things on...I've always hated panty hose or anything constricting...I don't know if they are even still wearing panty hose? hope not...
or how about reverse quasimodo?
I've always called it a speedbump
Belly Bloat? What belly bloat?
I TOLD you I'm NOT obsessing about it. *LOL*
wyn
YOURS is bulging five feet too?
Let's trade belly photos!!!
I didn't mean you or anybody obsesses on it, but I sure do!, I'll admit it! especially the water weight bloat, I look like Tony Curtis on a bad day sometimes! and not the young Tony Curtis either! I saw a pic of me during one part of the month, and my face was so fat! Whatever, I'll go zen on it, and eat a melon:) Then a certain part of the month will pass, and I urinate like there's no tomorrow (sure glad I shared huh?) and I'll go back to something like normal, till it starts up again...Guys don't know how well they have in some ways...I find I'm always unhooking my bra, my granny used to do that all the time, and I remember thinking how gross it was, I didn't have much empathy as youth, now I'm getting my Karma Kick-back....:)
Deb: oh dear, i didn't mean to make light of the belly problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely no offense taken, and I took your post exactly as you mean it -- trying to lighten up another treatment issue. I just wanted to make a different point but I do think that laughter and not taking everything too seriously can sometimes be the best medicine...except when your belly is bulging out five feet. LOL.
All the best,
-- Jim
Are you supposed to mix the aloe vera gel and the carom seeds together?
Or do you take them seaprately? And how often?
wyntre
You always say such nice things to me, forseegoo! :)
BTW, it's not that i obsess about stuff like bloating but since I've never had it and it is sooooo noticeable it's hard to ignore.
Hawke,
I can't imagine you with a poofy belly when you're barely 100 pounds soaking wet!
If it's any consolation, I have absolutely NEVER had this problem before, but i don't think mine is ascites coz before biopsy Dr. did endoscopy and ruled it out.
I guess it's just another miserable TX SX.
wyntre
I'm so glad you posted this. Watching my tummy poof, I was beginning to wonder if my ascites was back. I eat tons of yogurt and acidopholus and it hasn't helped the outer tummy. I'm going to try my wimp's brand pilates. It helped before.
hey, you got some positives in there! nothing wrong with perky! I just always think we gals are so hard on ourselves, it's built in I guess, me too...you'd never here of guys analyzing their every little flaw like we do, ha ha! I love to read your posts, you sound like a wonderful person, inside and out! You'll get that muscle tone back, that always comes back when you work it!
I'm soooo relieved everyone posted their belly-bloat issues!
I may still look like a flotation device but at least I feel better about it!
It is so strange as I seldom had bloating problems before TX, and when I did, it was always below the button, you know, the kind you have when you can't zip your jeans.
And I'm shrinking in other strategic places, too, like the butt which normally wouldn't bother me except all that excess weight seems to have been recruited into service by the girls!
As a matter of fact, not only do i get the tight unbearable band around the bra discomfort, I don't even have to WEAR a bra most of the time since I've now got this 'built-in' support.
To sum up what TX has done to my figure thus far: My butt is flatter, the girls are perkier, the belly is distended, muscle mass is being rapidly replaced by flab and I've got matching brown blotches on each cheek.
Oh, and I chopped off all my hair the other day coz it was so thin and skanky .
Sounds attractive, doesn't it? *LOL*

thanks I'm going to Walmart now, on the puter of course! don't feel lazy, me thinks one of the great things that have come with the internet is being able to do your shopping that way, when you think of it, it's a pretty green thing to do, not running your car's gas fumes, etc...and there's always the added bonus of not having to fight some old lady for your place in line, don't even mention parking lot fights! lol...
My mom was telling me about them. I haven't received it yet, but she said they have them in Walmart. I just was lazy and ordered it online. I saw several online that were just a couple of dollars. I should get it in a day or two. It looks like you just hook it right into your regular bra hooks. It has extenders for 1 hook bras, 2 hook, 3 hook, 4 hook. This is the type that are fastened in the back. I don't think they may them for front fastened bra's?? Didn't see any.
Susan
this program had a hick-up I guess, anyway, thanks for the bra extender tip, I didn't even know they had those...where did you get them? this is gross, but I do find that constipation issues and water retention make the whole problem worse, so it's good to eat lots of greens, veggies, to get things moving in the right direction so to speak...also melons are an excellent diuretic, also other types of foods, asparagus, etc.....niceguy, aloe vera juice is great! for the skin too! But then Ina will come on here and tell me that I'm full of sh*t!!! ha ha ha ha!
