Color Hair ???
Has anyone colored their hair while on Interferon & Ribavirin? I dont want to do anything that will make more fall out. This is week 19 and its coming out alot I think. Such an important question.Thanks

I would love to do something with my hair!!! But am scared what is left will stay in towel and then I will have nothing!! I am natural blonde and never used color but since my hair started thinning so bad at 4 month mark,,,I had to cut it from shoulder about 2 inches,,,just to look a little thicker. Ok,,,3 months later,,,still shedding and it has gotten darker!! I have so much red in my whats left of hair now!! Seriously,,,I know you guys keep saying its only hair,,,but this whole thing is freaking me out and now I'm thinking should I lighten it????
I have read and been told that permanent color is a NoNo... but semi permanent colors, temporary color and tints are OK..coz the process is different and doesn't stress the hair as much???? also.. that perms are NoNo's.. I guess it might make a difference if your hair is already over processed, or in good condition, or if you have 'virgin hair'...LOL ?????
I was told by my doctor not to ever color my hair again because of the toxic effects to my liver. However I have cirrhosis, so I don't imagine it applies to everyone. Joni
