Cutting back on prednisone finally!!

Just wanted to update the autoimmune hepatitis gang. My daughter had her check up today. all lab work was within nomal limits!!! (Does that sound good) She cut back on her prednisone to 2.5 mg from 5 mg, will stay on Imuran 75 mg. Plan now is to repeat lab work in one month if all goes well will eliminate prednisone at that time. How has anyone done after prednisone was eliminiated. I am thrilled yet at the same time scared because she has been on the prednisone for 2 years and I know that relapses can happen. Thanks for any input you have and wishing everyone well.
