Diahrrea since asia trip

I'm a 64 year old woman and my husband and I spent 3 weeks on a cruise from Bejiing to Hong Kong in March,2009.  I got diahrea just shortly after the cruise started.  Since then each time I eat and sometimes in between I have a runny bowel movement.  I have been on 2 antibiotics and 2 meds.  One was Flagl 500 3 x a day for 10 days and the other was metro(s0mething) for 10 days 3 x a day.  Can you please help me find an answer somewhere.  Oh yes, my stool sample came back negative for parasites.
Thanks
Sharon

I also have some GI issues after traveling to China. Loose and yellowish stools, with malaise. Blood and Stool samples came back negative. I have taken cipro but it has not solved the problem. Do you have any updates?

I suggest posting your question in the gastroenterology forum:

I'd also contact a travel clinic or the infectious diseases department at a university hospital.

If Metronidazole (an antibiotic) is the one you took, it's the same as Flagyl. Common adverse reactions associated with systemic metronidazole therapy include nausea, diarrhea, and/or metallic taste in the mouth.
