Does it involve any risk ?

Hi all ,
I just joined the forum today and started discussing my concerns and reading few posts. I got mental support from members of this.

While reading the post i was worried about a thing ,

Is it safe if the persons who takes blood during blood test did not wear gloves ?

The labs which i went did not use any gloves and the lab technician who takes blood to several people and places it in tray of test tube .

If he had some dried blood on hand ,and he touched my injecting place to search the vein ?

Does this practice involves risk ?

But he rubbed little rubbing alcohol overt the injection spot after searching the vein.

no risk. but I would still feel more comfortable with a lab following basic precautions like wearing gloves.

No, no risk in this situation. But not wearing gloves is not a good practice. I am sure that technitian washes his hands after each blood draw.
