Dried blood

I was at the park today walking my dog when i had to use the restroom. I didn't think anything of it and sat down on the toilet to go and when i stood up i noticed dried blood on the seat. I am freaking out cause i know hep c can live up to 4 days in dried blood. Does anyone have any insight to if i should be worried or not?

All of the scenarios have been covered here, so we really don't need to continue with additional "what if" questions here.  Thanks!

HCV is a blood to blood virus. Sitting on dried blood isn't a risk.

So even if you were to  clean up dried blood and you have a scratch that is healing on your had (scabbed over and healing for about 3 days lets say) your chances are low if that dried blood was infected?

so if i had a scratch and it was healing it wouldn't matter? The wound would actually have to be open and bleeding as well?

Unless that blood got inside your blood, you have nothing to worry about.
You would have needed to have an open wound exactly where that blood was AND that blood would have needed to have the virus in it.

In the future look before sitting down on the toilet.
I always do.
