Elevated alpha-feta protein level

I have chronic hepatitis C, Cirrohsis, and have been put on list for liver transplant, my alpha-feta protein level is up 263 in october from 106 in august to I've just had ultra sounds, Ct scans, and Mri, my liver is shrunken, have portal hypertension, so far no tests have revealed any cancer, have an appointment with my doctor on the 12th of January, could you tell me what I might expect to hear?
