Good day

Hello All,
Here's a question, I have read that if your Hemoglobin drops it's a good sign. Well my neuts dive constantly. I'm on Neupogen shots. One or two every week depending on my bloodwork. My Hemoglobin stays between 10.1 and 11.4. I was undetected at my four week test. Now I'm wondering about this Hemoglobin. I guess sometimes you can read too much into things but I just cant help but wonder. Any ideas or thoughts are welcome and FACTS would be even better!!! Lol  Thanks a bunch to all who respond in advance! Oh and on a positve note, I took my ninth shot yesterday and usually the next day I am hit! Tired and flat out no good for anything; However, today I feel like a new diamond!!  PTL!!!!!  It's a good day, I have been singin and tappin my foot in the car!! I haven't eaten a whole lot but Amen, it's a good day!!! I'll take it!

Hi,

I think it is awsome that you went UND by week 4 and that your hemoglobin is no lower than the 10's.  My God, if mine had been that high I'd have felt a world better.  Hopefully your Neupogen will help keep it up.  It has already been aluded to that all that is left is to keep taking the meds as suggested and wait after you're done to make sure you stay UND.  I've had 2 post treatment blood draws and am still UND even though I was taken off after only 35 weeks because I got too sick.  Lets keep our fingers crossed.

It's early in treatment for you.  I'm sorry to say that your hemoglobin has lots of time to drop and make you more miserable.  The fact that you cleared the virus from your blood early is an excellent sign for a successful treatment.  I know it is impossible not to be anxious about the outcome, but you have already made it to the most important part and should not worry about other signs.  Just keep taking the meds and following your doctor's instructions.  Looking good!

Your hemo has dropped plenty - a hemo of 10 shows that you are getting enough riba for sure....especially since you have been UND since week 4 and are already considered RVR.  Usually when people don't get to UND and are still in the high hemo numbers it can be an indicator of someone not getting a high enough serum level and probably aren' taking enough.  So it's the opposite!

Just keep up the good work!
