.If you had an open sore and his blood is infected with HCV it's possible. Get tested if you are really want to know, because speculation is just that. Good luck.

Ditto. Nobody here knows if you contracted HCV or anything else for that matter. You'd have to be tested.
Well, hopefully they were not prison tattoos. Not sure of your age, but the Baby Boomers were hit the hardest with the Hep C epidemic. When I was young, we hadn't heard of Hep C yet, but HIV had just been discovered. I was practising risky behavior, so I used to go get tested for HIV every year, and they had some counseling that went with it, so maybe you could do something like that. But I also took myself to a therapist, because I knew I was engaging in high risk behavior, and I wanted to be self-responsible. The therapy did work, and it was only once a month.
Of course, I did end up catching Hep C though, so if you are worried about high risk behavior, then I would try as many techniques as possible, like 12 step meetings, etc

Thank you for being so understanding about this .. I definitely do not mean disrespect in anyway shape or form.. I'm just worried about my own situation cuz the guy I was with had a couple of tattoos.. which in retrospect scared me.. and I've had some of these scares in the past.. it's just ... hard haha.. thanks a lot though. :)
I'm sure it is, we get that here. It irritates some on here though, because many of us are on medicine, and not feeling well, and we get our feelings hurt, by the idea that people are so afraid of what we alreadyhave, which cant be spread thru casual contact. I breast-fed my daughter for acouple yrs, and she tested negative for Hep C, it cant even be transmitted via breast milk, and babies must have sores in their mouths, when their teeth break thru, and niplles do get a bit abraided, when they are biten by teething babies...food for thought ...numa numa
thank you all.. I really hope it's just my OCD.
It's a good idea to get the Hep A and B vaccine, they come together, in a series of 3, I believe. If you suffer from OCD, it might be a good idea to avoid tongue kissing...I'm pretty phobic about germies, so I dont french kiss no mo.
I did alot of drunken kissing in my teens and twenties, and stayed healthy- The people I know who have Hep C got it from either a blood transfusion, or from a needle. I've never met anyone who said they got it from kissing, personnally, but the protocol says rough sexual contact may be a risk,so use the condoms, and now that you know you get canker sores, avoid exposing someone else to herpes, by kissing on other parts of the body : 0
Your previous posts show a pattern of very risky behaviour followed by an obsession to worry. James already answered your question, you don't need to keep coming back to ask the same question repeatedly as you did in the other threads. Practice safe sex and you'll have nothing to worry about. If you really want to calm your fears, get tested and move on.
I think you misunderstood me... I was kissing him on that night that I found a canker sore.. .so I was kissing him while having a canker sore..that's why I'm worried.. please let me know if thatt changes anything.. sorry about this and i truly appreciate your help
So we know he has herpes and now you may too. Do you know he has HCV. What about HIV might he have that too. Orrrr HBV,HAV ????
HCV is blood to blood meaning infected blood must get into your bloodstream. Swallowing is not a means for this to occur. Do you have open sores too? If so that may be an avenue for blood to blood transmission.
