This is a very good report from what little you provided. Stage o means you have no liver damage (fibrosis) and grade 2 means you have mild inflammation of the liver. Pretty much anyone with hep c has some inflammation of the liver.

All bloodwork within normal ranges except bilirubin-1.8 Geno type 1..The Grades and Stages always confuse me!!!Gonna wait for new meds-VL 10,000,000 I guess Im ok for now?????
You have plenty of time to wait for the right meds. It took me 27 years before my liver showed any damage. Everyone is different, but generally this disease is very slow moving.
Your vl has nothing to do with how much damage you have, it will only be important when you treat.
Be well and don't worry, you will be okay.

Thanks Bunches!!! ;o) I hope that you can start feeling better. You are having an awful time arent you???I am seriously thinking of getting that new polymorphism test that Lab Corp has just come out with...
It's been difficult, but I feel upbeat that outcome will be worth it. Like a certain percentage of us, my blood doesn't seem to like the tx meds at all. Thankfully so far the virus doesn't like the meds either! LOL
The grade is the level of inflammation you have and the stage is the amount of fibrosis (scarring) you have. It is interesting that your inflammation is at a two, meaning it is extending away from the portal triads, and you still have NO scarring. This is good but you will want to check it again in 3 years to make sure it hasn't progressed.
Congrats on a good biopsy report.
