i have replied your post twice, but my answer keeps on being deleted. I don't understand why. I don't have personal knowledge apart from what I have read on their websites. Maybe my post was deleted, because I stated the websites of the tramadol manufacturer, the actual brand name. So all I can say, google the medication and you will find the information.

sure, well, that is a tall order, you are right...
but if you have personal knowledge of the tramadol connection I'd sure like to hear it.
there are a lot of liver patients on it...
and then they get put on AD's or SSRI's.....
the more I've been reading, the more I'm convinced that liver fibrosis may be escalated by some of these drugs as much as pot and alcohol are known to escalate it.
Anything that raised your liver enzymes adds to the fibrotic process....
thanks for your input!
I have checked all the inserts of the meds and additional info I could find on the net, many don't exactly state why and I don't always understand all the medical terms. I don't really want to take the responsibility to advise ppl on stuff I'm not knowledgeable about. That could be dangerous. That's why I mentioned on the bottom of the page, that one can google them and get all the info available. Shouldn't we let people do some of the research themselves? :-) I believe the lists should not be a full spoon fed to the mouth, but a spoon in the hand. If you know what I mean...

I think it might be helpful to elaborate briefly on what each drug does, or rx link it..
you might want to group them, like Ad's together, iron bindrs, blood booster or something..
could you explain for instance why tramadol is toxic with certain AD's and which ones.
there are several classes of AD's so it would help to know which drugs in particular and why.
just ideas....great that you started to compile this list. It's amazing how many drugs are not liver friendly isn't it.
Oh, thank you so much for your touching words. It feels good to be appreciated and gives the courage to go on to do a little more. As I don't have much work at the moment and am mostly 'stuck' at home due to this dumb fatigue, I might as well use my time on something positive, while my brain is still kind of working. I really want to prepare myself for tx and as I am getting most information from all of you who have been so incredibly compassionate and helpful, it is only fair to give it back to the forum so we all can profit. So I must admit, that it is not selfless sacrifice. :-)

Thank you for the valuable information. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. It took me a while to get down to your post but it's so nice to see caring people who always go the extra mile to make somebody's life a little easier.
