only day 2

I started the treatment Tues with incevik. This only day 2 and I feel like crap. Who has a good way to get 2 grms of fat in your stomach at 4:45 am?? This is my second round of treatment, and I wasn't very nauseous last time. I am trying to work full time, but this doesn;t look promising.

Hi,
I am taking incivek too and need to eat some fat at the same time you do. I have 1/4 of a cinnamon raisin english muffin and put a one inch cube of cream cheese on it. I then nuke it in the microwave and have a chocolate truffle. Done! I have a bowl of high fiber cereal with skim milk (my breakfast before incivek) at about 6am right before I leave for work . I am getting nausea attacks too but they are somewhat random although I find I am having more of them. Rarely do they happen in the morning. At first it just happened once in the morning. Then I went about a week and was fine. Then a couple more. Had a nausea attack last night before bed and several today. I work about 10 hours a day and when the nausea comes on it is strong. I start week 3 tomorrow.  My doc said if the nausea continues there is medication to help control it. I hope I don't have a lot more of it because my appointment isn't until Monday. You might want to ask your doctor if you are feeling sick all of the time. Hopefully there is something they can do. Good luck.

Put a piece of bread into your toaster, when it pops out, swipe some peanut butter on it and then, drink something with it to get the toast/peanut butter down.  There's the fat.  Or another thought is if you have a toaster oven, put a piece of American cheese on a piece of bread and make cheese toast, that's some fat, too.  I eat plain yogurt for medicinal purposes about 8 TBLS. and it helps with my stomach.  These are just some suggestions that seem to be easy to fix when you're half awake, in order to get the meds down.  You can also buy premade cheese or peanut butter crackers.  Some of the protein bars also contain fat (if they are not the ones for weight loss), you just need to read the labels on them.  For the afternoon dose, it's easier because you are more awake and have some time to put something together.  Banana pudding is really good and has fat in it, for a morning dose.  The Pillsbuy toaster strudels have fat in them, too.  Unfortunately, if you are a diabetic (I'm not), these ideas may not work for you.  Hope this helps.  Susan400
