Wiped Out

Hi all

So I had a reality check on Sunday....I have been feeling pretty good. I am going into my 12th week of tx, half way there.  (Type 2) really have not suffered any serious sx as of yet. I am pretty frustrated with my level of energy.

We live in an area where bike paths are everywhere. My hubby and I often ride one that is maybe 20miles round trip. Never had a problem making it before. We went 3 miless and I felt like I was going to pass out. I felt like such a wimp and was really down on myself. So we did a total of 6 miles, guess that is better then none at all.  I just hate the way I feel.... I feel like I have no life right now. It ##$$%...

Just venting I guess.

Hang in there.  When I really start feeling sorry for myself I just tell myself this 48 wks of feeling like i've been poisoned will result in a healthy and active life once again.
I was very active before treatment.  I went to the gym everyday and lifted weights, kickboxed, ran, cycled etc. etc.  I was very muscular and fit looking now I look stringy and weak.
But I say thats ok its only temporary.  With all that said I'm still grateful for everything that has crossed my path.
Keep venting its good for you.
love

I'm sorry that you are feeling so tired. On the bright side, you're halfway through. Everything will be fine!

Venting is great.

Do it often - and don't freak out about it.

Feeling pretty good - and no serious sides --- you should be proud and comfortable.

The fatigue tho --- that's the number one complaint... and it's very hard for active folks to get used to the sedentary lifestyle that comes along with the inability to move much.

Don't worry --- YOU WILL GET THAT BACK --- For me it took one and a half years to get it back --- but I got it back doublefold!!!!

Awesome stuff...

Hang in there - ok?
