There is a newer drug available here in the US called Harvoni. It is a combo pill of Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir in one pill. Harvoni is even more expensive at $1,125 a pill, or $94,500 for a 12-week course of treatment. But it would be the only pill taken.
Of courst this treatment you aksed about is for Genotype 1 hepatitis C and also if your father has cirrhosis then double all those prices as treatment fo rpeople with cirrhosis is 24 weeks instead of 12.
