S&O -- EOT People??

Hi! Just wondering for those of you who have finished the Sovaldi & Olysio treatment (I finished last Wed) did any of you go through actual withdrawal symptoms? I may be a little rare in this as I also am titering down on prednisone (which is prolly more of a culprit) but I wasn't on a lot of pred. I feel crashed, spaced-out...like this stuff did a number on my dopamine levels, etc. (Which wouldn't be out of the ordinary, they are drugs prolly affecting many systems) I realize that I was one of the comparatively rare people who experienced symptoms and they weren't really bad, completely doable. In two weeks I'll be getting blood tests for my other issues, and one of them is liver function tests, I'm curious as to what those will be as the whole time I've been on treatment there were completely normal, in the teens and low 20s. Course 4 weeks from last Wed I'll get those labs and I know they'll just be an indication, but I hope it's a positive indication! I have seen some people going SVR on this on a few other boards, but I know it's not proving all that we've hoped (part of that I think is the way it's hyped, as Hector broke down for us, thanks Hector) Anyway, this doesn't work, on to the next one! Hope everyone is well and I appreciate any and all feedback, thanks!

Thanks so much!!! Really appreciate your input. When you know others went/or are going through the same thing, it makes me feel less alone with them. Youre right though, titering down from Prednisone at the same time has it's own little rewards! ;-) I actually am feeling a bit better, and it's not the first time they have taken me down from pred...I hope to be getting back some energy soon, with me it comes and goes as far as everything else....

It took a couple of weeks before I started to feel better.  I'm almost a month post S&O. My worst stuff were memory loss, joint pain and not being able to think myself out of a box!

Personally, I think you are going through steroid withdrawal with a touch of these drugs....water, water, water and healthy food and sleep. :  )
Best, dbzc

Hi.   I didn't do S/O, but  Solv/Riba.    When I was finished I had the exact same thing that you are referring to.  Couldn't really explain it as I wasn't sure how to express it, but mentioned it on another post to someone that it seemed as tho my neurotransmitters were out of whack regarding the pleasure centers.  My endorphins and dopamine would not reboot.   I was actually concerned since it was causing not only depression, but this spaced out brain fog which made me devoid of all emotion.  Actually broke up with the boyfriend of 2 years since all my emotional and physical feeling for him suddenly stopped.  Wondered if this would go on forever, as it lasted for almost 2 months.   Haven't really said much about it to anyone as it makes no sense.   Just felt blah!
So there you go...... Must be the Sovaldi.  If its the same thing I had, it does go away but took a really long time.  Funny too, I just woke up one morning and everything was back to normal.
Hope you get back in the zone soon
Hang in there
...Kim
