yes, I use Lunesta on rare occasions, works pretty well, though you have to be very careful when taking it, make sure you have your water "at the ready" and put it in back of your tongue and drink really fast, as it tastes like God knows what...
I don't really feel "off" yet. Took that last shot last night so took Riba this morning (but I'm only taking 2/day for a couple more days--my decision, not my docs...). This morning, I crushed a riba in my driveway just for fun (it used to take more to entertain me...).
So, I don't feel off but I do feel free. I figure the fog won't even begin to lift until 24 hours riba free. Right?
I printed out what you wrote about how you responded after treatment. I think I'll respond a lot like you--just my gut feeling. It feels weird to be "done" but still full of the same chemicals.
I think it's hard for everyone who knows me too. They all think that since I'm "done", I'm all better--feeling good and virus free. I've quit trying to explain it. I think that all of us in the forum have a virtual PhD in HepC by the end of treatment.
I hope you're feeling OK. I know that reducing my dose to 3/day seems like a little relief already, after about 4 days(I was basically on a high dose thru treatment).
Sleep...the first time after that long beginning stretch when you start treatment is the most wonderful thing on the planet, it's heaven on earth.
Now that I have the Ambien I only wake up for liquids and then pretty much knock straight back out thank God.
I bet ya never realized just how important sleep really WAS did you? :)
(I remember all the WIERDO nightmares that I had when I first started sleeping again...oy they were horrible!)
I am glad that you got some sleep FINALLY. Sleep deprivation is a major bummer. I hope that you are able to get some meds to help you out so that you sleep EVERY night, not just once in a while! I was kind of laughing about the water, only because it is something I would do!
I'm so glad you finally got some well needed sleep. I use lunesta and still have problems sleeping at times.
Beagle
Hey. My doc prescribed Lunesta for my sleep problems.
Are any of you guys using Lunesta?
Does that damn butterfly cruise around you bedroom all night?
Congrats on the sleep. I'd be so pround of myself if I slept without drugs for a whole night. That's a post-treatment goal of mine.
It's a bit disconcerting to wake up in a wet bed though, eh?
