Any way, the Neutrophils went from a base line of 3.2 to 0.7 (normal range being 2.0 to 8.0).

the WBC went from a baseline of 5.6 to 2.5 (normal range being 4.0 to 11.0).

My doctor said I look stable and continue with the course, but those look like they dropped alot.  Aren't those numbers something you guys keep a close eye on?

This all looks good.  Yes the INF. is beating up your WBC  pretty good ,however they can jump around a bit.
It is the ANC they usually keep a close eye on and some doctors will start the rescue drug Neupogen at about .5 or so

It is the ANC portion of the WBC that is the major infection fighter in the body ,,however there is much controversy on whether or not  it getting low is really a risk factor for infection ,however most doctors will do Nuep(some will introduce an antibiotic) as a safeguard.

So far so good ...Probably best to do CBC"s weekly in the beginning to head off any problems though ..
Hang in.. ..

My Neutrophils went from 1.6 to 0.4 in two weeks, just did a shot of Neupogen yesterday, 5th shot tonight and started Vic today. My Hgb also went down  from 14.6 to 10.2 so I'm sure my Drs. are watching these number, I'm on reduced peginterferon also, I'm in it for the long haul if possible. Best to you.

Besides the drop in ANC, the Numbers are pretty good. Not much of a drop in your HGB though.......... Wishing you the best

It took about 8 weeks for my ANC to drop too low (0.3) on SOC before starting neupogen.  Keep an eye on things, but looking good for now.
