First i would like to thank the Dr. HFHSM.D.-D.M for all the help he has given me and many others in advanceAdvance care plus Advance relief. It is hard to find a Doctor that is so caring at times!!!!
I have a few questions about Hep C now that my year of treatments is about up.
If I have responded to treatment, is that considered cured?
What is considered Responded and what is considered Cured?
If I have responded to treatment down to undectable levels and I cured?
What percentage of people who are cured / responded from taking the Combo treatment have the HCV come back?
Will I always have HCV?
Am I still contagious to others if I have responded to treatment?
Am I still contagious to others if I am cured?
How long after treatment stops will I know if I am cured or have stopped responding and have a relapse?
And finally, any suggestions on to what I do after treatment stops?
