Thanks for your support!
I agree, since I got my RBV reduced to 800 it is becoming much more doable. It took 2 weeks for the drop to effect me though, but my blood levels are better and i feel good, doing my yoga and pilates and still walking the dogs..now i need to tackle the house work and bathe my sheltie!!
Have a great day!
Hi and thanks. I was on 1200mg riba per day. 24 weeks is great. If I had a choice I would have opted for the 24 weeks over the 12 weeks as I had little to no side effects. I think the extra 12 weeks is just more "insurance". This Tx/study was a "cakewalk' compared to the last 3 attempts with interferon. Good Luck...I'm very positive you will achieve SVR :)
I am so happy for you. I love hearing this..I am on treatment now. same meds only scheduled for 24 weeks...on week 7. my rbv dose is 800.. what was your dose? You made it 12 weeks eot and not detected..definitely considered cured!!! You did it!! Keep on posting, is wonderful to hear!!!
Thanks for posting that. Good news, indeed.
hmmmm I don't know Matt. Personally I am more stressed by not knowing and I think that could be more damaging?? But you could be right.
I will know next month anyway...well I will know everything but my VL. That will be prolonged another couple of weeks I guess.
I've been in contact with an ION-1 participant that was in group 24 weeks 7985 and NO riba. They had to discontinue treatment early at week 13 because of extreme nausea GI problems. They have past their +12 EOT and asked to come back at +24week. All tests after EOT have remained blinded but getting the call to return to clinic for +24 EOT testing is such good news for them since they had to stop treatment from their 24WK ARM early. Only 13 weeks, No riba and they are in it to the End! I was upset over being moved back to the 12week treatment and this person was kind enough to send me message to ease my concerns. They chose not to post here publically but this is indeed hopeful news for those of us who are on shorter treatment ARMS.
