The new look for the board and old guidelines

I stop in now and then and notice that we now have many more questions and many more answers.  Even w/more questions,, I think the old guideline of one question per poster per day-altho the rules say post much less frequent postings, is still a good one.

Altho there are a dozen q's, only a few posters are posting multiple times about nothing.  the point is to get as many topics and as much knowlege and stories shared, not to have a running monologue for a few.  A few questions no one even tries to answer b/c there are no answers to non questions.  Real concerns get lost.  This comes up every few months and always caused confusion w/the newbies.  No one's pickin' on you, newbies.

Its confusing for us all, b/esp for those just starting treatment.  Me?  I don't really care b/c I tx'd and cl'd 4 yrs ago.  any lingering sx's are gone, my health is better and I don't have to play Russian roulette w/my health.

Just thinkin' about you guys and how ease of navigation and amt of info are so important.

hey, my bad, I do have ongoing dialogues with members, more now then then...about? nothing sometimes, though it's a way to cheer me up when I'm feeling a little blue, other times it's just cause I just get sooooo sad about so many people suffering, and relapsing, and I feel so darn helpless to do anything about it, so I want to take my mind off it for a second, granted, maybe I should off the board...I'll take that under advisement...

but how about people who have a markedly rude tone to their posts and questions? to me that's more offensive, but then, of course, I'd say that because I'm one of the ongoing dialogue people...

I do this myself, it works great! I just don't read dialogues, questions, posts in general, etc. past a few words to where I can suss out that I'm not interested...telling ya, it works great! Good advice to newbies and oldtimers in my view....

I enjoy reading the post, I don't always respond,
but need to read others comments, they assist me many
times and elevate my moods, I hope everyone continues to
do what they do best, and this helps me and others.
I am certain there are others who just read, and
might not yet feel comfortable commenting, but get
there spirits lifed by reading the the posts.
I know I do.

I wish I had a .38  it seems like a .44 might be an exageration on my part...I'm sure my guns are a little smaller ;)

I don't think there are "hall monitors" here but when you see the same posts/threads/all in a row it gets a bit stupiiiiid - people need to know how to post if you see a statement IN a thread then you need to RESPOND to the thread and NOT start another THREAD...things like that.

I admit when I had no idea of the rules either and I went to post and would have posted a whole new thread...but they were used up already = and the only reason that would have happened wsa my own ignorance.  I was glad to find out the "rules".

Dialog doesn't bother me at ALL  -  it's a BIG part of what this board is about, friendship and support and the only way to do that is through dialogue you know?
