To Ann 345 Varicoses procedure

Hi Ann, My son had this done in Feb of this year & one the last year in 2008,he did well ,no problems.Sometimes I think its for the money as he went in to check them & ended up with more bands but again years ago they could not do this & it probably is helping save lives .He has  Has some bloated feelings sometimes.You are a genotype 3? I dont quite understand all this staging does that mean or how do they determine your cirrhosis stage,does the genotype mean the stage your in?What kind of meds are you taking?And what do the varicoes have to do with the liver in the esphogas?You know you learn alot from here,Im seeing things in here Ive never seen ,its a good support system.I wonder how you get into these trials,We are in Birmingam ,AL.Is anyone in here from here and who are some good Dr.s here?The best for this type thing???
