I use Quest and agree about 6-7 days for my 4 and 12 week tests. Since the results are sent to the doctor, your finding out the results may depend on how efficient their office staff is. It could sit in their office a few days without you knowing. They do have an app that allows you to link your phone/computer for Quest to your doctor to get the test results sent to you. Sounds like a great idea, but I haven't had a chance to use it.
My expereince is about a week. But, I always did them on a Thursday (results alwsys back on Wednesday) . I think some labs batch them and run RNA on a schedule, not necessarily every day. So, if your lab does the same your frozen PCR popsicle may sit around and wait for the next batch to be run.
